Round and Round

$1,675.00

I recently moved to what I consider to be the most gorgeous setting. This painting is the first hint at an obsession with my new view. I’ll be painting it over and over again, through all four seasons. I’ve included a photo taken on a recent, mid-May evening so that you can see it, too. This painting represents me dipping one molecule of a pinkie finger into portraying this beautiful landscape, but it is actually more of a representation of my ever-rotating house moves and love life. Hence its title, “Round and Round”.

It was created in acrylic, graphite and pen on heavy, linen-textured paper in expressive hues of springtime’s greens with a bit of shiny, metallic gold and a dash of the sky in its various stages throughout the day (blues, whites and pinks).  Oh, and maybe a little soy sauce was splashed in. It happens. Look closely for text on the left and a male figure on the right. It is shown here in progress in my Paonia, Colorado home studio and in sample rooms and frames.
